The DiscoveryOpt ED-PRS Gen2 5–25×56 is a professional-grade First Focal Plane (FFP) riflescope designed specifically for long-range precision rifle shooting. This 2023 second-generation model, equipped with Extra-low Dispersion (ED) glass by HOYA from Japan. It offers outstanding optical clarity and sharpness even at a high magnification of 25×. The 34 mm, one-piece machined aerospace aluminum tube gives the scope a solid, reliable construction and allows for a larger internal adjustment range than the competition. It is an ideal choice for long-range sport shooting (PRS and ELR) and hunters who strive for a sure hit even at extreme distances. Main features

5-25x magnification, 56mm lens – Wide zoom range from mid-range to ultra-long-range shots. The large 56mm front lens collects plenty of light, delivering bright and clear images even in low light.

Japanese ED glass and multi-layered lens coatings – Premium extra-low dispersion glass minimizes chromatic aberration and distortion, resulting in crystal-clear, sharp images throughout the entire magnification range. Multi-layered coatings on the entire lens surface ensure outstanding light transmission and contrast.

First-Plane, MRAD-Based Illuminated Reticle – The riflescope’s engraved reticle is located in the first image plane, therefore the size of the ballistic markings changes with magnification. This ensures that holdover and range-estimating markings are applied equally at all magnifications, making it easier for the shooter to take reliable measurements and distance to make those accurate long-range shots.

Zero-Stop Precision Turrets with 1/10 MRAD Clicks – The heavy-duty tactical turrets have a firm click (1 click = 0.1 MRAD) for consistent and precise adjustments. The zero point (Zero-Stop) can be set and locked, while the turrets can be reset without the use of tools.

Huge internal adjustment range – Thanks to the 34 mm tube and advanced internal mechanics, 36 MRAD vertical and 17 MRAD horizontal adjustment range are available.
